David DeBruin is a seasoned first-chair trial and appellate attorney located in the Chicago office of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP. He concentrates his practice on patent litigation and related proceedings before the USPTO, and also defends attorneys accused of patent malpractice. He has tried patent cases in a variety of venues and has successfully argued numerous patent cases before the Federal Circuit. His cases have involved a wide array of technologies. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
