Ms. Daniels is an associate in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Denver office and a member of the firm's Real Estate Group. Ms. Daniels also serves on the firm's Committee of Associates and Recruiting Committee. Her practice focuses on all areas of real estate development, with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, development, land use, and public-private partnerships.
 
Ms. Daniels represents publicly traded REITS, privately owned development companies, public utilities, and municipalities in all aspects of the acquisition and disposition of real property, including multi-family, retail, industrial, and office properties. She advises clients on development and entitlement matters relating to various real estate development issues, including drafting and negotiating development agreements. She has also represented various private entities in negotiations related to service contracts and lease agreements with municipalities across Colorado.
 
In addition to her acquisition and disposition and development experience, Ms. Daniels has negotiated leases for a commercial office property portfolio of over 2.8 million square feet of office and retail space in the downtown Denver business district.
 
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Daniels interned for the Denver City Attorney's Office, where she assisted the Municipal Operations Division with various research projects related to contract negotiations and potential revisions to the Denver Municipal Code. In 2005, Ms. Daniels worked as a law clerk for Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO), researching and confirming its multi-tiered ownership structure.
 
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Daniels worked in the corporate offices of Gap Inc. as a Merchandiser in the Old Navy Division.
 
Ms. Daniels graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (Order of St. Ives), where she was a General Editor for the University of Denver Law Review and President of the Real Estate and Construction Law Society. Ms. Daniels is a founding member and co-chair of the KIPP: Colorado Schools Advisory Board, and a mentor for the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Mentoring Program.
