Joseph D. Garrison
Garrison Levin-Epstein Chimes Richardson & Fitzgerald PCJoseph D. Garrison, of Garrison, Levin-Epstein, Chimes & Richardson, P.C., New Haven, Connecticut, focuses his practice on employee rights. He graduated from Wesleyan University in 1965 and Cornell Law School in 1968. He has served as President of the CBA Labor and Employment Law Section, as Chairman of the Federal Court Grievance Committee, founding Chairman of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association, and as a member of the Board of Directors and past President of the National Employment Lawyers Association (Advocates for Employee Rights), a specialty bar association with over 3,500 members. He now serves on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and was a founding Governor, Charter Fellow and is now President of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. Mr. Garrison has been a speaker at national employment law seminars sponsored by the American Bar Association, BNA Books and the NELA, and is a frequent lecturer and seminar contributor in Connecticut. He has been honored as one of The Best Lawyers in America from 1987 to the present as well as the Outstanding Lawyers of America. He is increasingly active as a mediator, particularly in employment cases, and is both a mediator and arbitrator on AAA's employment panels.
