Morris J. (“Mike) Baller is a partner in the nationally prominent plaintiffs' class action law firm Goldstein, Demchak, Baller, Borgen & Dardarian, located in Oakland, California.  The firm litigates employment discrimination, wage and hour, disability access, and other public interest class actions on behalf of plaintiffs nationally.  Mike Baller has specialized in employment discrimination class actions for over 30 years, during which he has served as Assistant Counsel for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund in New York, Vice President for Litigation of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund in San Francisco, and as a partner in his present firm for the past ten years.  He is a 1970 graduate of Harvard Law School, a member of the ABA's Labor and Employment Section, EEO Committee, and has taught employment discrimination law and class actions as an adjunct faculty member and lecturer at a number of law schools and conferences.  Conference paper co-author Laura Ho, who has just become a partner in the Goldstein Demchak firm, is a Yale Law School 1994 graduate and has specialized in wage and hour class and collective actions in her years at the firm.
