Scott N. Friedman is an owner and partner of Friedman & Mirman Co., L.P.A. who specializes in Family Relations Law. Friedman & Mirman handles all aspects of family law cases and Scott is also a family relations law mediator and arbitrator. Scott is an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law. Scott is also licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. Scott was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and attended The Columbus Academy. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School, where he was honored with the Order of the Curia. Scott served as chair of the American Bar Association Family Law Section for 2013-2014 and has held many other positions within the ABA. Scott is currently one of two Section Delegates to the House of Delegates for the ABA Family Law Section. Scott is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial lawyers. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association's Family Law Committee, the Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Committee, and the American Bar Association Family Section. Scott has been listed in Best Lawyers in America in Family Law as well as an Ohio Super Lawyer for many years. Scott is an instructor at the American Bar Association Family Law Section's Trial Advocacy Institute. He has consistently been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics. Scott has served on the Board of Trustees at the Columbus Academy. He is a current board President of OSU Hillel and a board member of Melissa's House.
