Brian M. Bradford, Esq., is passionate about standing up for the underdog. Through his thriving personal injury and insurance bad faith practice, he goes the extra mile to protect his clients' rights and privacy, and all the protections the law affords. Before joining Bachus & Schanker, LLC, Brian spent five years as deputy Colorado state public defender, where he tried nearly 30 cases to jury verdict, was nominated for attorney of the year and learned what it takes to be an effective courtroom advocate. Brian brings not only a wealth of experience, but also a unique global perspective to his practice. After graduating magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law and studying abroad at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, he returned to his native Colorado. He then spent two years learning about the judicial decision-making process while clerking for the Honorable John L. Kane, a U.S. District Court of Colorado judge; Colorado State Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Love Kourlis; and the Honorable Leland P. Anderson, a Jefferson County District Court judge. Today, Brian is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association and has had the honor of presenting tort law updates on subrogation to his peers. He also is actively involved in the American Association for Justice and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Kepner Educational Excellence Program, a nonprofit organization that helps fund, among other things, students' academic journeys to Washington, D.C., and Europe. Brian also actively fundraises to find a cure for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease). A native of Colorado, Brian is proud of his local sports teams and is an avid outdoorsman, taking his two rescue dogs with him when he can. He also is personally interested in Colorado politics and legislation.
