Steve Nash is a partner in the Denver and Washington, D.C. offices of Squire Patton Boggs LLP, where he serves as co-chair of the firm’s 125-member international healthcare practice group. Mr. Nash has focused on health and hospital law since 1982. For more than 20 years he has practiced on a national basis representing health systems, hospitals, academic medical centers, health foundations, health information exchanges, and all payer claims databases; physician groups and associations; health maintenance organizations; preferred provider organizations; skilled nursing and home health providers; ancillary health service providers; purchasers of healthcare services; and life science companies, as well as financial and strategic investors in the healthcare sector. More recently, Mr. Nash has been privileged to serve as a healthcare law advisor to a number of sovereign governments and their respective healthcare agencies.
 
Mr. Nash regularly advises on matters implicating governance, corporate reimbursement, tax, fraud and abuse, privacy and security, and other regulatory compliance issues. His practice includes corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, integrated delivery system development, hospital/physician integration, managed care, and healthcare-related technology. Mr. Nash also represents hospitals in single provider and group appeals for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and, in this connection, is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; the Third, Fourth, Tenth, and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeals; and the Provider Reimbursement Review Board. He also serves as lead hospital counsel for hospital revenue and refunding bond issues.
