Children's Hospital ColoradoJulie Selsberg, Esq., is a First Assistant Attorney General in the Colorado Attorney General's Office in charge of the Prosecution Assistance Unit in the Criminal Justice Section. She is the director of the Colorado Justice Review Project, a post-conviction DNA testing program, and in 2012 led the exoneration of Robert Dewey who had been incarcerated since 1995 for a rape and murder in Mesa County. She has taught criminal procedure, prosecution clinics and 4th Amendment law to undergraduate students, law students and law enforcement. She has also written and lectured on the Justice Review Project. In April of 2014, she launched the Best Practices Committee for Prosecutors in Colorado with the Colorado District Attorneys' Council. The Best Practices Committee is a think tank for prosecutors to stay informed of key criminal justice issues, developing legal trends and technology advances. Ms. Selsberg had been an assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office prior to joining the Attorney General's Office in 2011.
