Jared Ellis, Esq., is a partner at Jaudon & Avery LLP, where he focuses his practice on appeals, commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, personal injury and representation of professionals in licensing proceedings.  Mr. Ellis served as the chair of the Medical Malpractice subcommittee of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association from 2013-2015.  He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee and Lawyers Professional Liability Committee.  He is also a member of the Minoru Yasui Inn of Court. Mr. Ellis has taught CLE courses on the Professional Review Privilege, Quality Management Privilege, and New Developments in Colorado Medical Malpractice Law.  Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk at the Jefferson County District Court for the Honorable Leland Anderson and at the Colorado Court of Appeals for the Honorable Robert D. Hawthorne.  As a law student, Mr. Ellis interned for the Department of Justice General Litigation Division and served as the Assistant Managing Editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review.
