Jennifer Biever, Esq., counsels and assists oil and gas companies, renewable energy companies, and other development clients with natural resource, land use, environmental, siting, and regulatory issues, including assistance in obtaining requisite permits and approvals; development of environmental compliance strategies; and preparation of comments on federal resource management activities, such as Resource Management Plans on public lands and Environmental Impact Statements. Jennifer has taken lead roles in several state rulemakings on matters impacting the oil and gas industry, including the recent Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission regulations. Jennifer works with oil and gas companies and other development clients on permitting and enforcement matters in front of state agencies, including the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Air Pollution Control Division and Water Quality Control Division. Jennifer also has a master of science degree in environmental sciences. Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Jennifer was a legal assistant in the New York office of another international firm.
