Richard M. Murray
Polsinelli PCRichard Murray is a shareholder at Polsinelli and practices in the national commercial litigation and health care litigation groups. He received a B.A. in political science and philosophy, with a minor in business administration, from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he served as student body president. He received his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, and served as the managing editor of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy. Before joining Polsinelli, Mr. Murray represented health care professionals and facilities in professional liability and licensure board matters. Prior to private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Nathan B. Coats on the Colorado Supreme Court. Mr. Murray is the President (2017-2019) of the Board of Directors for CBA-CLE. He will be the 2019-2020 Chair of the University of Colorado Law School's Law Alumni Board. Mr. Murray also serves on the statewide Colorado Access to Justice Commission by appointment of the President of the Colorado Senate. He previously served terms as the First Vice President and Second Vice President of the Denver Bar Association and on the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Murray has been honored as the Denver Bar Association's Young Lawyer of the Year, as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado by ColoradoBiz magazine (Gen XYZ Award), as an eight-time Rising Star in Colorado Super Lawyers, and as a Compleat Lawyer by Law Week Colorado.
