Jeni Stinson, Esq., practices criminal defense in Colorado, specializing primarily in juvenile defense and direct file/transfer litigation. Ms. Stinson received her law degree from Tulane University in 2004, where she worked as a student attorney in the criminal defense clinic, and interned at the Louisiana Appellate Project, the Maryland Office of the Public Defender and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Ms. Stinson worked for the Colorado State Public Defender for four years, where she focused on juvenile law, juvenile drug court, and adult felony cases. Ms. Stinson has been in private practice for the past eight years, focusing almost exclusively on indigent juvenile defense. Ms. Stinson was named Outstanding Juvenile Defender 2014 by the Colorado Juvenile Defender Center. In 2015 Ms. Stinson and Leslie Krueger-Pagett started the law office of Stinson & Pagett, LLC as a firm specializing in juvenile criminal defense. Ms. Stinson has taught legal courses and guest lectured for Colorado State University, University of Denver, Metropolitan State University, Westwood College, Holmes Paralegal College, The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, The Colorado Juvenile Defender Center, and the Office of Alternate Defense Counsel.
