Nancy Peterson, Esq., is an attorney with Welborn Sullivan Meck & Tooley, P.C. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships. Nancy graduated cum laude from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science degree and received her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Peterson served on the Preventive Law Review and received the Scholastic Excellence Award in Disability Law. Nancy previously served on the Board for the American Lung Association of Colorado, HIV Care Link, Inc. and Colorado Guardianship Association. Nancy has provided pro bono services to the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center, Metro Volunteer Lawyers and The Adoption Exchange. Nancy is a Member of the Elder Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association. Nancy was involved with the Centennial Estate Planning Council, Women's Estate Planning Council, Denver Estate Planning Council, Estate Planning Council of Southeast Denver and Northwest Coalition for Seniors. Nancy was the presenter on: “Estate Planning Basics” Colorado Bar Association Continuing Legal Education in August 2016; “Planning for Married Clients and Larger Estates” Colorado Bar Association Continuing Legal Education in February 2016 and February 2014; the Elder Law Society Panel, University of Denver Sturm College of Law in September 2015; “Caregivers, Agents and Myths”, Hospice Volunteer Training Program in December 2011; and the Co-Chair for the Elder Law Retreat in August 2015 and August 2014.
