17th Judicial District
Honorable Mariana Vielma was recently appointed as Adams County Court Judge in the 17th Judicial District (Adams County), where she was previously a Magistrate (2018-2020), Assistant County Attorney (2013-2018), Senior Deputy District Attorney (2007-2013), and Law Clerk (2005-2007). She has served the legal community in various leadership roles, including the Chief Justice Commission; the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association and Colorado Women's Bar Association Boards of Directors; the CBA Executive Council, Board of Governors, Nominating Committee, and Joint Steering Committee on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; and the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association and 17th JD Access to Justice Committee. She is a 2009 COBALT class graduate. Throughout her career, Judge Vielma remains focused on building a more prepared, diverse and inclusive pipeline for lawyers as leaders.
