R. Scott Fitzke, Esq., is a shareholder with Shortridge & Fitzke, PC, rated “AV” by Martindale Hubbell. His practice emphasizes real estate, real estate finance and real estate litigation, and the representation of and defense of real estate brokerages, brokers and lenders. He also practices in the areas of commercial collections, bankruptcy litigation, commercial foreclosures and workouts, entertainment law, business associations, probate, and he represents several local and national non-profit entities. Mr. Fitzke is also General Counsel for the Blues Foundation and serves on its Executive and Strategic Planning Committees. Mr. Fitzke is a graduate of the University of Denver, College of Law (J.D., 1981). He attended the University of Nebraska (B.A., 1978), as well as Hastings College (1978-1979). He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association (Real Estate and Litigation Sections), the Denver Bar Association, the First Judicial District Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.
