Nina Y. Wang

Honorable Nina Y. Wang is a magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Prior to her appointment to the bench in 2015, she was a partner in the Intellectual Property Group at a private firm, where her practice focused on complex intellectual property litigation. She also served as an assistant United States attorney in the District of Colorado in the Civil Division from 2000-2004, and as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Messitte on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, and Harvard Law School. Judge Wang is a past president of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado, and former chair of the IP Section of the Colorado Bar. She currently serves on the Steering Committee for the National Pro Bono Patent Committee and as a judicial advisor for a number of Sedona Conference Working Groups.
