Gretchen Lipman concentrates her practice in employment and family law. She regularly counsels clients on every facet of the employment relationship and has represented clients at the trial and appellate levels. Among other things, Gretchen has handled matters involving Title VII, ADA, FLSA, and ADEA, covenants not to compete, severance and settlement agreements, wage and hour law, and independent contractor relationships. Gretchen is a 2003 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law, where she served as senior editor for the Denver University Law Review and as a member of the Honor Board. She also regularly volunteers for the Metro Volunteer Lawyers Denver Family Law Court program. Gretchen is a co-author of the Colorado section of the treatise How to Hire and Fire in 96 Jurisdictions, and has contributed to ColoradoBIZ Magazine regarding covenants not to compete and independent contractor relationships. She is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell, named to Best Lawyers, and is Best Lawyers'2020 Lawyer of the Year in the area of Employment Law - Plaintiffs.
