Robertson B. Cohen, Esq., received his B.A. from the University of Wyoming in 1999, a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver in 2003, and a MBA from the University of Denver in 2004.  He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association Bankruptcy Subcommittee, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, and others.  He presently serves as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee while also representing trustees, debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings.  Rob is a board certified consumer bankruptcy specialist.  He received the 2011 First Judicial District Bar Association George Holley Outstanding Young Lawyer award and is the 2013 recipient of the Donald E. Cordova Distinguished Service Award.  Rob is active in the Faculty of Federal Advocates bankruptcy pro bono defense program in addition to regularly volunteering at various legal aid clinics around town.  Rob continues to publish bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy articles and has lectured for various professional groups, including Continuing Legal Education. Prior to opening his own firm Rob worked as a litigation associate and handled any number of general civil matters, including domestic relations.  His favorite lawyer movie is My Cousin Vinnie. He is a voracious reader of historical fiction and is currently attempting to complete his ancient roman coin collection.  His hobbies include enjoying anything outdoors with his family.
