Lucky Vidmar is an associate general counsel and head of IP litigation at Microsoft. His team is responsible for Microsoft’s global patent, trademark, copyright and trade dress infringement docket. Before Microsoft, Lucky was a Vice President and Technology Counsel for Western Union in Denver, and before that a partner at Hogan Lovells. Before becoming a lawyer, Lucky worked in the software and hardware industry for nearly 10 years, including as a software development consultant on projects to improve the nation's response to earthquake, tsunami, and volcano disasters.
