Dean H. Harris practices with Bechtel & Santo, LLP, where he provides representation on the full range of employment law matters with an emphasis on counseling, training, and litigating on behalf of employers. Bechtel & Santo's attorneys represent private and governmental entities and forprofit and nonprofit businesses throughout Colorado regarding all aspects of the employer-employee relationship and are committed to understanding each client, minimizing risk, and working toward goal realization.
In 2003, Dean graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Following graduation, he clerked for Colorado Court of Appeals Judge Jose D.L. Marquez. Dean worked as an associate attorney for Benezra & Culver, LLC, from 2004 to 2006, practicing employment, civil rights, and criminal law. From 2006 to 2010, he worked as a staff attorney for Mountain States Employers Council in Denver, training, advising, and representing employers exclusively in all phases of employment law and human resources, specializing in wage and hour, drug and alcohol, and medical issues. From 2010 to 2013, Dean worked as a vice president and human resources regional manager for Community Banks of Colorado and its successor, NBH Bank, N.A., overseeing human resource and employment law issues for approximately 425 associates in 60 locations in Colorado and California.
