Zach E. McCabe

Zach McCabe, Esq., is a Senior Deputy District Attorney with the Denver District Attorney's Office currently assigned to the Economic Crime Unit. He has been a deputy in the Family Violence, Cold Case and Gang Units. He has tried over forty felony trials including homicides, sexual assaults, cold-case homicides, cold-case sexual assaults, child sexual assaults, domestic violence assaults, weapons and firearms cases, and gang-motivated shootings. Prior to joining the Denver District Attorney's office Zach was a civil litigator with Ogborn, Summerlin & Ogborn, LLC (now Ogborn Mihm, LLP) where his practice included construction defect, personal injury and medical malpractice claims. Zach was born in Denver and raised in Greeley, Colorado, though he lived in New York and the East Coast during his high-school years and for some time after before returning to Colorado for law school. He earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from the University at Albany, SUNY and earned his JD from the University of Denver. Before attending law school he worked for the New York State Assembly in Albany, New York and then a small technology startup in Newton, Massachusetts. Zach is a lifelong Denver Broncos fan for life and a season ticket holder for over ten years.  He lives in Denver with his wife and two boys.  He loves coaching youth baseball.
