David Hersh, Esq., is a trial lawyer serving as co-chair of the Commercial litigation Department of Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine and is also General Counsel to the firm. Dave is passionate about lawyer well-being issues and served on the Colorado Supreme Court Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being as well as the continuing Colorado Well-Being Recognition Program for Legal Employers. Dave has served as Chairman of the Committee on Conduct of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and as a member of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee. Admitted to practice in Colorado in 1984, Dave is a lawyer blessed with over 30 years of recovery from alcohol abuse, and shares his experience, strength, and hope with lawyer groups and organizations. Dave is the Chair of the Arapahoe County Bar Association Lawyer Well-Being Committee as well as a member of the Wyoming State Bar Well-Being Committee and volunteers his time to community organizations promoting and assisting in recovery. Dave and Julie enjoy cycling, SCUBA diving, and volunteering at their church.
