Dori S. DeJong

Dori DeJong graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1987, earned her MSW in 1996 from the University of Denver School of Social Work, and her JD from the University of Denver College of Law also in 1996. Since 1990 Dori has been very active in working with distressed families: as a supervised visitation coordinator, a mental health work in a children's residential treatment center, a battered women's shelter, or a victim advocate for the Denver District Attorney's Office.
Dori began working in private practice in 2001 with Pelegrin and Radeff PC and then began her own practice in 2003. Dori's work focuses on divorce, adoption and custody issues, as well as post decree issues. Dori has been a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association and Colorado Women's Bar Association since 2001. She was on the Board of Directors of the Advocates for Victims of Assault from 2001 to 2008. Dori has been a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals since 2006 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Collaborative Law Professionals since 2006 where she has served as Co-President and Vice President.
 
Dori is a regular speaker at professional conferences, including the Divorce and Custody Conference for Advocates, the Colorado Collaborative Law Conference, the National Social Work Conference, and the Family Law Institute.
