Emily Wey is the founder of Wey West Dispute Resolution, LLC, in Denver Colorado. Emily has been a practicing health care attorney for 25 years, concentrating her practice on navigating the complexities of the private health care payment sector for all of that time, and culminating with serving as a chair of the Payer Disputes and Reimbursement Audits group at Polsinelli, PC prior to establishing her own firms. Since 2012, Emily also has been a member of the neutrals panel of the American Arbitration Association, primarily handling cases under the AAA Payor Provider Dispute rules; she joined the American Health Lawyers Association neutrals panel shortly thereafter. Currently Emily is serving as a neutral in three pending arbitrations, and throughout her neutral career has served as a neutral, through hearing, in multiple matters ranging from $40,000 to $10M. Although she maintains a limited law practice through Wey West Legal, LLC, Emily's passion is alternative dispute resolution in health care.
