Katherine Powers Spengler, Esq., Deputy State Public Defender, received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2002. Ms. Spengler has been a deputy public defender with the Colorado Public Defender's Office since 2002 and is currently assigned to the Golden Regional Office. She has mentored and trained many incoming public defenders and interns. Ms. Spengler has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado School of Law in trial advocacy.
