Alexandra (Ali) P. Smits, Esq., is a shareholder with Harrington Brewster Mahoney Smits, P.C., a Denver-based law firm specializing in complex family law. She is committed to helping families minimize conflict and navigate the emotional and financial complexities of family law matters with integrity. Ali is also a trained mediator, arbiter, and collaborative law attorney, with widespread success in alternative forms of dispute resolution. Ali previously served as President of the Board of Directors of the Metro Denver Interdisciplinary Committee (MDIC) and served on the Board of Directors of Colorado Collaborative Divorce Professionals (CCDP). Ali regularly presents on family law matters and is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Davis, an M.A. from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
