Kristi Bunge is a partner and shareholder with the firm. She was raised in the Denver metro area after moving here from Kansas. She graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. in Communication in 1997. Before beginning law school, she worked at a private Montessori school in southwest Denver and a public Montessori school in Douglas County. She received her Juris Doctor in 2002 as a night student at the University of Denver Colorado of Law, while working full time as a law clerk preparing Chapter 7 bankruptcies. Since becoming a partner at SBWP, Kristi has focused on Bankruptcy law, Evictions, Collections and Community Association law, and maintaining and improving client satisfaction. Kristi is also a current member of the Kristi and her husband have two children, one in college in Alaska and one about to graduate high school.
