Megan Hall, Esq., grew up in Denver, and has practiced immigration law in Colorado since 2005.  Megan was awarded a Boettcher Scholarship -a merit-based scholarship that provides a full ride to any four-year institution in Colorado -and completed her undergraduate studies at Colorado State University.  After earning a journalism degree from CSU, Megan worked as a newspaper reporter, and discovered a passion for giving voice to the voiceless.  In 2005, she graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in the top ten percent of her class, and joined the nonprofit Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) as its Detention Staff Attorney.  In 2007, Megan went into private immigration practice, representing clients in a wide variety of immigration matters including family-based applications; naturalization; asylum; removal defense; complex motions and appeals; and petitions for immigrant victims of crime.  Megan returned to RMIAN in 2013, and she now manages the organization's Detention Program.  Megan has served on RMIAN's Board of Directors and also as an adjunct legal-writing professor at CU Law.  She is proficient in Spanish.
