Gina M. Simonson
Office of the Colorado Attorney GeneralGina M. Simonson, Esq., is the First Assistant Attorney General for the Real Estate Unit at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. She manages a team of 6 attorneys to provide general counsel and litigation support to the Division of Real Estate, the Colorado Real Estate Commission, the Board of Real Estate Appraisers, and the Board of Mortgage Loan Originators. Before joining the Attorney General's office in 2007, Gina served as a JAG in the United States Air Force where her legal practice included environmental and land transactions in support of the current Buckley Space Force Base. She retired from military reserve service in 2020. Gina earned her B.A. summa cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from the University of Arizona. Her law review Note on the adjudication of tribal water rights is published in the University of Arizona Law Review.
