Craig Neugeboren is the founder and owner of Neugeboren Law Firm PC. He started the firm after spending 15 years as a design engineer and as an attorney in both private practice and as in-house counsel for a multi-national publicly traded company. Craig is a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is licensed to practice law in California and Colorado. He is also admitted to practice in many district and appeal courts throughout the country. Prior to founding the Firm, Craig was in-house counsel to Maxtor Corporation where he handled all aspects of the company's national and international intellectual property protection. His practice included patent procurement and enforcement, litigation management, brand protection, and overall IP enforcement. Prior to going in-house, Craig practiced in the Intellectual Property and Litigation groups of Cooley Godward LLP and in the Silicon Valley office of Lyon & Lyon LLP. At both firms, Craig's practice encompassed a wide range of strategic patent counseling, patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation. Craig is the Vice-Chair for the Intellectual Property Section of the Colorado Bar Association and routinely speaks on the topics of intellectual property, fraud and counterfeit avoidance, and brand management. He is an adjunct member of the faculty at both the University of Colorado - Leeds School of Business and at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law where he lectures on patent law and the development of company intellectual property programs. Craig received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and his law degree from Rutgers University in 1997.
