Marc Mayer is Managing Counsel for Agilent Technologies, Inc., responsible for managing and protecting Agilent's intellectual property rights. Marc is actively involved in a broad range of IP-related transactions including M&A activities, and development of the company's world-wide intellectual properly strategy. Marc has been working for Agilent since it was spun out of Hewlett Packard in 1999. Marc served as a JAG in the US Air Force from 1993 until 1997 when he was hired by Hewlett Packard as an IP attorney. Marc received his J.D. from the Temple University School of Law, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. Marc's personal interests include fixing cars and motorcycles and he is a Cub Scout den leader for his twin 9 year old sons.
