Peggy L. Podell prior to retiring, was a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, practitioner for over 30 years limiting her practice to family law. During that time, she provided the dispute resolution options of litigation, collaborative practice, and mediation. Ms. Podell served as Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Family Law (2004-05) and Chair of the Wisconsin Bar Family law Section (1997-98). Ms. Podell also served as a Director of the Cooperative Divorce Institute (2004-2009) as well as a member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin (2004-2017). Rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, she was included in the listing of Super Lawyers in Wisconsin (2005- 2018) is included in the 2007 through 2018 editions of the Best Lawyers in America and was included in M:Magazine's list of the Leading Lawyers in the area of family law in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Ms. Podell lectured throughout the country and authored numerous articles on family law topics ranging from ethics to marital agreements to tax-related issues.
