Shelly Hunter is a court reporting firm owner with 28 years’ experience in the industry.
Shelly started her career as a court reporter in 1983 with Park Spangler & Wedgwood. In
1994 she purchased the firm, and it became known as Hunter + Geist. Since that time she
has concentrated on staying abreast of technology and remaining a leader in the Denver,
Colorado, market. Shelly has served on many boards in the court reporting arena and has
presented on many topics to both court reporters and also paralegals and lawyers. Shelly is a member of the National Court Reporters Association, the Colorado Court Reporters
Association, DepoSpan, STAR, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Association of Litigation Support Professionals, Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association, and the Mile Hi Association of Legal Support Staff.
