Corey R. Sanchez
Mwh GlobalCorey R. Sanchez, Esq. is the Director of Ethics and Compliance at MWH Global, a US based company with 7,000 consultants, engineers and employees operating in 180 global offices in 35 countries world-wide. MWH is currently the lead designer of the new, larger Post-Panamax navigation locks for the Third Set of Locks project of the Panama Canal Expansion. Corey is responsible for directing the Global Business Conduct Program at MWH, which includes US Federal compliance matters. Corey previously was the Director of Risk Management for Americas Engineering Technical Services at MWH. Prior to joining MWH in 2009, Corey was with McKenna, Long & Aldridge in Denver, Colorado, where he practiced government contract law. Prior to practicing at McKenna, Corey practiced corporate law at Holme Roberts and Owen (now Bryan Cave HRO) in Denver, where he provided legal counsel relating to debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, trade secrets and the licensing of intellectual property. Before practicing law, Corey was a Contracting Officer with the Department of Defense (DoD), where he directed contract management for high-tech DoD procurements in San Francisco. Corey earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver and is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy.
