Paul Schwartz is an arbitrator in complex business cases, especially merger & acquisition ("M&A"), corporate governance, and high-stakes commercial disputes. A highly accomplished litigation attorney, Paul has spent 30 years representing plaintiffs/claimants and defendants/respondents in essentially equal measure in trials, arbitrations, and appeals throughout the U.S. Paul is a member of the American Arbitration Association's Commercial and Consumer Arbitration Panels and its specialty panels for Joint Venture and Merger and Acquisition disputes and Cannabis disputes. He also arbitrates disputes as a member of the Colorado Bar Association's Legal Fee Arbitration Committee. Before co-founding Shoemaker Ghiselli + Schwartz, Paul served as law clerk to Justices Stephen Breyer and Harry A. Blackmun (Ret.) of the Supreme Court of the United States, cut his litigation teeth at a top boutique firm in Atlanta, and was a litigation partner at Cooley LLP in Colorado.
