Andrew Shoemaker has been mediating cases, either as a trial attorney or neutral, for over 30 years. He teaches mediation and negotiation classes at the University of Colorado Law School. Andrew co-founded Shoemaker Ghiselli + Schwartz and is a former partner at the international law firm Hogan Lovells, former special assistant US Attorney, former enforcement attorney for the SEC, former law clerk to a federal judge, and former member of Boulder's City Council where he was Mayor Pro Tem. He is on the roster of mediators for the American Arbitration Association, on the board of the Mediation Association of Colorado, and on the executive council of the ADR Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Andrew also regularly blogs on mediation and negotiation issues at his blog site Conflict Management: Perspectives and Research on Resolving Conflict.
