Paul H. Schwartz represents business clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and investigations. His civil litigation focus includes corporate governance, post-merger and acquisition, banking, securities, trade secrets, and regulatory enforcement matters. Mr. Schwartz previously served as law clerk to Justice Stephen Breyer and Retired Justice Harry A. Blackmun of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge Phyllis A. Kravitch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He began his career as a trial lawyer in1995 with Bondurant Mixson & Elmore, a leading boutique firm in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a nine-year stint with Cooley Godward in Broomfield, Colorado. In 2009, Mr. Schwartz co-founded Shoemaker Ghiselli + Schwartz, a boutique litigation firm based in Boulder, Colorado specializing in trial, appeals, arbitrations, and regulatory and internal investigations.
