Lisa D. Hughes

Lisa D. Hughes is the Executive Director of the Denver Bar/ Colorado Bar, Court Mediations Services (CMS) program and a private mediator. She is the former Regional Coordinator and Senior Mediator/Mentor of the Administrative Office of the Court-Children's Court Mediation Program, (Abuse and Neglect), for the Fifth and Ninth Judicial Districts with the State of New Mexico. She is an independently Licensed Professional Counselor in the States of New Mexico and Colorado. Along with Master's degrees in Clinical Counseling Psychology and Organizational and Professional Communications, she has a Certification in the Advanced Studies for Alternative Dispute Resolution, which includes training in Advanced Mediation, Advanced Negotiation, Advanced Facilitation, Restorative Justice and Arbitration. Lisa has practiced conflict resolution, ADR program development and acted as a mediation skills trainer for over seventeen years. Her mediation experience includes but is not limited to, Family and Domestic Relations, Abuse and Neglect, Court Mediation and Workplace Conflicts. Lisa is an Associate member of the American Bar and Colorado Bar Association Dispute Resolution Sections.
