Rima E. Schafer is Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Counsel for Intrawest, a leader in the development and management of experiential destination resorts. The Company has a network of resorts in North America. From Intrawest's headquarters located in Denver, Colorado, she provides legal advice on the US corporate side as well for all the US resorts of Steamboat Ski Resort, Winter Park Resort, Stratton Mountain Resort, Snowshoe Mountain and Honua Kai Resort & Spa located in Maui. She became the company's Chief Privacy Officer in January 2012 and since then has been responsible for the company's compliance with US and Canadian privacy laws and the company's privacy policy.
