Gary Chapman practices intellectual property strategy, portfolio development and management, and counseling in strategic business planning relating to technology commercialization in the Boulder office of Lathrop & Gage LLP. His expertise includes complex technologies arising out of the intersection of life sciences, physics and chemistry from multi-disciplinary fields including biomedical engineering, biophysics and chemical engineering. His experience includes developing, commercializing and enforcing intellectual property rights. Prior to attending law school, Dr. Chapman was a Research Associate in the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University and the Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Chapman obtained a Ph.D. in the Department of Biophysics from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario in Medical Biophysics.
