Timothy Lane, Esq., is the Legislative Liaison and Policy Analyst for the Colorado District Attorneys' Council. A Colorado native, Tim is a graduate of the Colorado College and the University of Michigan Law School. He returned to his hometown roots and practiced for 15 years as a Deputy District Attorney in the 1st Judicial District. In his current role, Tim is well regarded as a speaker and regularly trains attorneys, prosecution staff, and law enforcement throughout the state on topics such as the Supreme Court, the 4th Amendment, legislative updates, case law updates, and behavioral health and criminal justice issues. Tim is the primary editor and co-author of the Colorado Peace Officer Sourcebook as well as other CDAC publications.
