Darla Daniel, Esq., is Vice President and Trust Counsel at Alpine Bank Wealth Management in Denver. Darla is a Colorado native and has been working in the Trust & Estate field in various capacities since 1988. Her experience includes 10 years in private practice as an attorney, most recently with Balson, Faix & McVey LLP, and 10+ years as a Trust Officer with Colorado State Bank and Trust. She is a Past Chair of the Trust and Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, is active in a number of section subcommittees, and currently serves as co-Legislative Liaison for the Section. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado School of Law (Estate Planning: 2009-2011 and Wills & Trusts: Spring 2018), and is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council, and a past Chair of the Women's Estate Planning Council. She received her J.D. at the University of Colorado School of Law, where she served as a Casenote/Comment Editor on the Law Review.
