Chris Colclasure, Esq., is Senior Counsel at Beatty & Wozniak, P.C. Chris represents energy companies in complex environmental compliance, permitting and litigation matters. He helps clients obtain regulatory approval to build energy projects and keep them running. When state or federal agencies propose new regulations, he works constructively with industry and regulators to develop cost-effective rules that achieve their intended results without undue burdens. Chris recently served as the Deputy Director of the Air Pollution Control Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where he led a team that developed rules and non-regulatory measures to reduce statewide emissions. He directed Colorado's implementation of the $68 million diesel vehicle emissions settlement. Chris is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserves and is assigned to the Air Force Utilities Law Field Support Center.
