Robert J. Corry, Jr. is the principal at the Law Office of Corry & Associates, a downtown Denver boutique law firm specializing in criminal defense, civil rights, business litigation, and cannabis law. Mr. Corry was instrumental in establishing the medical marijuana industry in Colorado.  He brought the litigation in 2007 that struck down the five-patient limit for primary caregivers providing medical marijuana, thus ushering in Colorado’s medical marijuana industry. He successfully litigated the appeal in In re Marriage of Parr, 240 P.3d 509 (Colo. App. 2010), which is the first and only published appellate case in Colorado relating to marijuana use in a parenting context.  
 
Mr. Corry is a co-author of Colorado Amendment 64, which legalized recreational marijuana in Colorado. He was appointed to and served on the Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division Rulemaking Workgroup in designing regulations for Colorado’s marijuana industry.  
 
Mr. Corry previously served in Washington, D.C. as Majority Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee. Mr. Corry obtained his J.D. from Stanford Law School, and his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Colorado-Boulder. He is admitted to practice law in
California, Colorado, and the District of Columbia.
