Kent Jay Levine has practiced law for more than fifty years with a concentration in the real estate law area. Kent retired as a Professor at Red Rocks Community College after many years of teaching real estate and law.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from Western State College (n/k/a Western Colorado University), and Law Degree from Drake University.  He serves as Chairman of the Special Advisory Committee of the Colorado Real Estate Commission on Standard and Approved Forms ("Forms" Committee).  He holds the DREI designation (retired), CRB and GRI designations, is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker, author, educator, expert witness and frequent spokesperson on the content and use of the Colorado Real Estate Commission's real estate forms.  He is also a past president of the Colorado Real Estate Educators' Association and a former Council member of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association.  Kent is one of the co-authors of Guidebook to Colorado Real Estate Contracts and Disclosures, now superseded by the author's Levine's Bible # 1 (Colorado Real Estate Commission Contracts to Buy and Sell Real Estate and related forms and Levine's Bible # 2 (Colorado Real Estate Commission Listing Contracts and related forms) and the 2025 edition of Boxes & Blanks for the completion of the Commission's Contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate.
