L. Jay . Labe
L. Jay Labe is special counsel at Allen & Curry, P.C., where he is chair of its Fidelity and Surety Practice Group. Since graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1970, Mr. Labe has specialized in the representation of sureties in fidelity and surety claim matters and litigation involving construction, commercial, judicial, and bail bonds. He is licensed to practice in Colorado, Wyoming, the Tenth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Colorado and Wyoming, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Tort and Insurance Practice Fidelity and Surety Committee; the American Bar Association Forum Committee on the Construction Industry; and the Rocky Mountain Surety Association. He is an author and a frequent lecturer on surety topics.
