Judge R. Brooke Jackson practiced law in Denver for 26 years before being appointed to the District Court for the First Judicial District in 1998. In 2011, he was appointed to the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, where he continues to serve. Effective October 1, 2021, he will assume senior status in that court. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has written and spoken extensively on litigation and trial advocacy subjects.
