Kenneth R. Hope, as a graduate of Colorado State University and Washburn University School of Law, Ken has been practicing law in the Denver area for more than 40 years, first as sole practitioner in the Englewood and DTC areas and later as an associate with a boutique downtown firm with multiple Colorado offices. Ken's practice included both transactional matters and litigation.  His client base was comprised of small business and institutional clients as well as individuals with practice areas that included mediation, construction and commercial related disputes as well as business “divorces” and high conflict matrimonial cases. He is an AAA trained arbitrator and served as a volunteer settlement master in Arapahoe County District Court. After leaving private practice, Ken spent the last 8 years as general counsel and vice president of a specialty wood products company before leaving the company in July of 2015 to devote his energy to his mediation and ADR practice.  Since Hope Mediation was launched in 2010, Ken has mediated nearly 300 cases in a wide variety of areas including commercial disputes and “business divorces”.   Ken is a frequent presenter on a variety of mediation related topics. In addition to his private mediation practice, Ken continues in his quest to develop artistry as a mediator by serving as a volunteer mediator in various courts throughout the State.
