L. Tyrone "Ty" Holt, Esq., is an arbitrator, mediator and trial lawyer. He is a Fellow, and current President of the College of Commercial Arbitrators. He served as a member of the Governing Committee of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry from 2007 to 2010, and was the Chair of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry's Special Projects and Education Committee (SPEC) from 2009 to 2011. He is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of the Stanford Law School; a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation; and a member of the American Arbitration Association's Construction Arbitration Master Panel. Ty is certified by the International Mediation Institute. Ty has just completed chapters on alternative dispute resolution in the construction industry for two ABA Forum on the Construction Industry books entitled Fundamentals of Construction Law (2nd Ed.) and Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Construction Industry.
