Peggy A. Wallis

Peggy A. Wallis, Esq. received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Boston University, a Masters Degree in Education from New York University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado in 1984.  She has practiced in the area of Juvenile Law since admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1984: as a Guardian ad Litem from 1984-1986, and as an Assistant County Attorney from 1986 until the present.  Ms. Wallis was originally a Guardian ad Litem, and then an Assistant County Attorney in Adams County, she worked in Denver, Arapahoe, and Boulder Counties.  Ms. Wallis has practiced in Boulder for sixteen years, and is presently the Lead Attorney handling dependency and neglect, delinquency, and Integrated Treatment Court cases. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was employed by the New York City Board of Education, and taught social studies to high school students in their public school system.  Ms. Wallis had a brief career as an actress, and appeared in several Off-Off Broadway plays that died an early and merciful death.
