Janet Stansberry Drake, Esq., received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1996.  Ms. Drake is currently a Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Special Prosecutions Unit at the Colorado Attorney General's office.  As an attorney in the Special Prosecutions Unit, Ms. Drake investigates and prosecutes organized and complex, multi-jurisdictional crimes.  She is also a member of the following organizations:  Colorado Bar Association Criminal Law Executive Council; Denver Bar Association (president-elect); Colorado Women's Bar Association (past president); Colorado Identity Theft and Financial Fraud Board of Directors (board chair); Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking State Advisory Board; Task Force for the Continuing Study of the Treatment of Persons with Mental Illness Who are Involved in the Criminal Justice System; and Colorado Human Trafficking Council.
