Gregory A. Eurich

Miller & Steiert PC
Gregory A. Eurich has practiced at Holland & Hart since 1973. He was Chair of the firm's Litigation Department from 1991 to 1994 and was previously Chair of the firm's Labor Practice Group within the Litigation Department. He has extensive experience in all phases of labor law, with particular emphasis on litigation of labor disputes. His work has included lawsuits where he defended major clients against claims of race, sex, age, disability and national origin discrimination; actions involving collective bargaining agreements; and a variety of wrongful discharge claims in lawsuits before state and federal trial and appellate courts in much of the Western United States. Over the course of his labor litigation career, Mr. Eurich has been lead trial counsel in over 60 trials, approximately one-third of which have been jury trials. He was lead trial counsel for plaintiffs in both the preliminary and final injunction hearings in a successful suit challenging the constitutionality of a widely-publicized amendment to Colorado's constitution that would have prohibited any legislation protecting against discrimination based on sexual orientation. This case received nationwide press coverage in broadcast and print media, including live coverage on Court TV, and was ultimately decided in plaintiffs' favor in the U. S. Supreme Court. Mr. Eurich has extensive experience in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state civil rights commissions throughout the Rocky Mountains, the U.S. Department of Labor and OFCCP. He also has extensive arbitration experience and has taught at numerous seminars on a variety of labor topics. Mr. Eurich graduated from the University of Michigan Law School magna cum laude. He has been listed among labor and employment lawyers in The Best Lawyers in America since its inception.
